2. The data we collect

We collect only information that is reasonably necessary to answer enquiries, arrange and perform services, maintain quality, process payment, protect homes and access information, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sensitive information

Please do not send medical, financial, identification or other sensitive information unless it is strictly necessary for the requested service. Where you voluntarily provide health-related or accessibility information so that we can safely adapt a service, we use it only for that purpose and, where required, on the basis of your explicit consent.

We do not intentionally collect personal data about children through the website.

4. Why we use personal data and our legal bases

5. How we obtain data

We obtain personal data directly from you when you use our website, complete a form, request a quotation, make a booking, pay, communicate with us or receive a service.

We may also receive limited information from a person or business authorised to arrange a service for you, such as a partner, property manager, estate agent, host, employer or concierge. The person providing the information must have authority to do so.

6. Who receives personal data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.

7. International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use providers and safeguards recognised under data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary safeguards.

Further information about relevant providers, transfer locations and safeguards is available on request where required by law.

8. Premium discretion, keys and access information

Homes, routines and security arrangements are private. Access information is restricted to authorised people who need it for a confirmed service.

Where possible, keys and access codes are stored separately from the full property address. We do not place identifying address labels on keys. Access codes are deleted when they are no longer required. Team members may not use access information outside the confirmed service or disclose it to another person.

Details concerning a client’s home, possessions, household, visitors, schedule, documents, security system or personal circumstances are treated as confidential and are not used for marketing or discussed outside operational necessity.

9. Photographs and before/after material

We may take limited operational photographs where reasonably necessary to record the starting condition, confirm completed work, support quality control, document an incident or respond to a complaint. We avoid capturing people, private documents, security information or unrelated personal possessions.

Operational photographs are not published. Marketing use, including before/after content, requires separate, specific permission. Refusing marketing permission does not affect the service. You may withdraw future marketing permission at any time.

10. How long we keep data

11. Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses functional technologies required for security, navigation, forms, booking, payment and preference storage. These can be used without marketing consent where permitted by law.

Slavic Homemaking does not intentionally activate analytics, advertising, social-media or other non-essential tracking on the website without the required consent. If such tools are introduced, they will be disclosed and placed only after consent. Rejecting non-essential cookies must be as easy as accepting them, and the choice must remain changeable through Cookie Settings.

If non-essential cookies are introduced, a current cookie table will identify each cookie or script, its provider, purpose, duration and category. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, embedded marketing video or similar tracking will not be activated before consent unless configured in a way that legally does not require consent.

12. Security

We use proportionate organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data, including access restrictions, role-based sharing, secure accounts, device protection, confidentiality rules and controlled handling of keys and codes.

No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free. If a personal-data breach occurs, we assess it and notify the competent authority and affected individuals where required by law.

13. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in data-protection law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

To exercise a right, email slavichomemaking@gmail.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

14. Marketing communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Service messages about an enquiry, booking, payment, access or quality issue are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.

15. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, website tools or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on the website with its effective date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
